It’s a scary thought and I’m not sure if I’d ever take a prescription drug in order to benefit temporarily, especially for someone else to make more money…

US business success requires making high anxiety/pressure presentations that only can be tempered/perfected w/ mood altering drugs? Does anyone see what’s wrong with this picture of American business culture? I suggest taking a look at the stats analyzing quality of life in industrialized countries and seeing where the US falls and why. Bottom line: no one place is perfect.

I think a boss could benefit from talking about the topic from a personal perspective. Without actually asking the subordinate to do anything, they can pretty much hint at it and see if any action is taken. I think that would be okay, but straight-out asking for them to use drugs I don’t think is ethical, or professional for that matter.
