Even us, married for 43 years and still dealing with the issue of surprise versus what I really want and he doesn’t have a clue unless I tell him and then it isn’t (a surprise, that is) problem. Hmmm. Of course, for me, I don’t care about the surprise part of it. I think (hope) my hubby has gotten over that, although, I am not sure. I do think he would like me loving my gift more than any surprise. A couple of his surprises have not worked out well. Remember the lottery ticket for Mother’s Day one year? Hmmmm. Or the surprise birthday party at our new duty station in England with 50 complete strangers who brought me gifts(ugghhhhh)! His heart is always in the right place and he has a really big heart, so that counts for alot! But, it is still always a question.

It is very true because sometime you just get stuck and dont know what to say. Some conversations are easier tahn the others . Sometimes it also depends on the person we are talking to .

Meanwhile after Stanford’s loss last weekend I think they can beat Notre Dame but the 49ers will lose. But Chelsea will win at Arsenal to make me happy
